to deepen our levels of physical and spiritual awareness. Mindful
walking can help us face the existential questions of 'Who am I?',

going?' Through a series of 25 succinct meditations on walking,
Adam Ford presents an enlightening guide to how mindfulness and
walking can help us improve our conscious living, including: *
Taking time to breathe * Finding your rhythm * Being aware of your
surroundings * Long-distance walking * Walking with others *

In 1988, Adam Ford became a supporter of Tranmere Rovers,
Merseyside's 'deadly submarine' of a football club. That was a
great time to be a fan. In August 2014, when the Palioses first
took over the club, it wasn't such a great time to be a fan.
Relegation out of the Football League soon followed, and things
looked desperate. But the Palioses had a plan to unleash the power
of the 'Super White Army' to turn things on the pitch, off the
pitch, and in underprivileged communities of Wirral. This is the
story of how all that happened, and how Tranmere Rovers is now a
club on the up once more. Featuring interviews with staff, former
players, and - most importantly - many members of the Super White
Army themselves, the book combines features on developments at
Prenton Park over the last few years, with a blow-by-blow account
of the incredible 2017/18 season, which saw Rovers promoted back to
the football league.
This world is full of rotten and spiteful souls, but instead of
hiding from the darkness, you'd best be embracing it, son. Mark me
words, I come from a position of experience in these things. There
are those who work their superhuman magic in the open, flying
through the air or dressed in patriotic stars and stripes. But the
more interesting stories happen just to the left of this stage, and
just a little out of focus. - Grimm, Supervillain (retired) This
Mutant Life: Bad Company is the second anthology in the series, and
turns its focus to the darker side of the superhuman world. The 21
stories introduce the reader to the lives of ancient beings who
have walked among us for centuries; teenage runaways taken under
the wing of vigilantes; and other mutants who walk the fine line
between light and shade.
Speed, pressure and stress are what we expect in modern life yet do
we really need to accept that reality? Moments of Mindfulness
offers an opportunity to pause, breathe, notice and become aware of
ourselves and the world around us. Our collective of expert authors
share inspiring meditative insights on what mindful living really
means, along with meaningful exercises to practise and enjoy every
day. From experiencing the beauty of the natural world to cycling
and walking mindfully to work, we can all learn to live consciously
and joyfully, like never before.
